Allianz Arena

MVV tickets are not included in the admission price or season tickets of the football clubs as there has not been enough interest on the part of Munich’s football clubs. However, there are alternatives!

Travelling in groups

If you travel together with other people, we recommend the Group Day Ticket. It is available from ticket machines and valid for up to five adults – any two children between 6 and 14 years of age count as one adult. You’ll need the Group Day Ticket for the Zone M to travel to the Allianz Arena from the Munich city area.

… or travel alone to see the kick-off

If you decide to travel to the Allianz Arena from the Munich city area alone, then a Single Ticket for Zone M is the right choice – you need one for your trip to the Arena and another one to travel back. As an alternative, you can also validate two stripes on a Stripe Ticket for each trip. If you use the Single Day Ticket for the Zone M, you are free to travel flexibly throughout the city on the day of validation – including a free trip to the Allianz Arena and back.

Easy to reach by MVV

The stadium in the north of Munich can be reached conveniently by MVV. Just take the U6 in the direction of Garching-Forschungszentrum and get off at the stop “Fröttmaning”.

How to get there (german version)

The Allianz Arena has 9,800 parking spaces and 1,200 VIP parking spaces – for about 70,000 visitors (seats and standing room). Using the P+R-facilities and public transport is a convenient alternative to higher parking fees and longer waiting times.

Barrier-free access inside the Allianz Arena

The Allianz Arena was specifically designed to allow disabled visitors to enjoy their stay in the stadium.

165 premium seats are allocated to wheelchair users and one accompanying person/carer each on the long sides of the Arena on the top rows of the lower tier, allowing sufficient room for manoeuvring wheelchairs.

The accompanying person/carer sits next to the wheelchair user. The entire Level 2 is “barrier-free” for people with disabilities. This level includes kiosks, support services for disabled people, and specially equipped toilets. Specially reserved lifts are available for changing levels in the north and south stands.

Getting to the Allianz Arena by wheelchair

There is also a barrier-free route leading from the underground (U-Bahn station “Fröttmaning”) to the Arena. Lifts and escalators are available at the south end of the platform.

A pedestrian bridge leads to the Fröttmaning P+R facility, with another lift leading to ground level. From there you can reach the Allianz Arena via the esplanade.
